Buyers Can Get Their Dream Homes Now

Our market is cooling a bit which means a change in pace for buyers.

Today we’re going to be talking about how our shifting market affects buyers. I’m excited to share these changes with you because buyers have had to sacrifice a lot to get a home in the past. You might have come in way over asking price and given up appraisals and inspections, but because you were competing with 30 other offers, you still didn’t get the home. That can be really frustrating, so I know a lot of you decided to sit on the sidelines and wait for the market to cool.

Well here’s the news: It looks like the market has cooled some, and it’s a good opportunity to get that dream home. What exactly is happening though?

1. Homes are staying on the market longer. This means you have more time to take a look at them before making an offer.

2. There are not as many offers on a home. It might only be you and two or three other offers. Don’t hold me to that, though, because in some neighborhoods it could still be more.

3. Buyers aren’t having to give us as many rights. You might be able to keep the appraisal and the home inspection offer and still win.
